Since then I've studied a film school and now I am way more critical when watching movies and many movies have lost my appreciation now that I can see the technical details that I did not see before.
However this film gained a lot and I was already hugely impressed the first time I've seen it back in It's pretty close to a masterpiece I find the details and the sheer scope of the production simply mindblowing.
The actors,costumes,preps, the background stories ,characters and activities are all quiet rich in detail too. I am finding it almost impossible to imagine how this film was done produced One person found this helpful.

This is quite violent and brutal in places, but so life would have been like for these people at such a time, but this also has a person telling an old myth, omens and superstition, and the kind of things you would expect from this period.
Quite spectacular to watch this is something that you can easily immerse yourself in and enjoy. Reminding us all as well that civilisations were all over the world, and were quite sophisticated despite the way they may look to us today.
