Just kidding, sort of. All I am saying is there's a stigma in society that you need to be with someone and get married and have that all figured out by the time you are 30 and this show is a slightly glamorized version of what it could be like if you didn't make that a priority and had a career first and were getting in more serious relationships at 30, that would've blown my mind.
You can nitpick this review all you want but I've been married for 4 years and this show is a good perspective of the other side, it's funny and witty and I love the characters and their truthful story arcs.
I can still say how truly sad I am that it ended. It isn't just about sex.. They could have continued into old age becoming the new "golden girls".
While the first season seems like fluff and sex it just sets the stage for the series. Great Series. Miss it terribly.
Each episode is fabulous. Almost every night, when I'm getting ready for bed, I watch 1 or 2 sometimes 3! The writers created years of super shows for our benefit.

Her girlfriends and Stanford are there through thick and thin. The kind of friends we all dream of having. And if you can't relate to Carrie then you will relate with one of her friends.
I, myself, am more of a Miranda. The four girls and their many dates and boyfriends entertain and make us laugh. It's great fun to watch the very different personalities go about their NYC lives.
But the heart of the show is the relationship between Carrie and Mr. I love them both. She's beautiful, successful.
She's not overly confident. She often doesn't know what to do when she and Mr. Big hit a bump. She's vulnerable and overall a very nice person, but not overly nice.
I see why Sarah won so many awards for the role! And Big is great looking and cool. After all, if he were easy to pin down, there would be no challenge.
I'm glad I checked it out. SATC is definitely not for the faint of heart that's for sure. But for those who can handle it the show is hilarious!
They were not afraid to be real and touch on "taboo" topics. You can actually relate to the characters and what they go through.
It is not all fluff and happy endings. They don't always make the relationship look flawless and glamorous. It's real issues, real situations, real love, and real heartbreak.

It's so fun and cheery! I'm a Bushnell fan in general, I like her books, and I love this series. She is witty, sassy, and completely in-tune with pop culture and the inner-workings of friendships and relationships.
I have so much love for this cast of characters. Of course, I always love re-watching Carrie and Big. I know where that goes, now - but can't so many women relate to what Carrie goes through with Mr.
That's why I love SATC so much, everything that happens is relatable and could happen in your own life.
And, it's hilarious. If you haven't watched SATC - you must. You must must must! Be aware, this is HBO - so there is plenty of nudity and uncensored conversation.
